Enjoy Costa Brava’s coves and beaches, their fine and clean sand and the towns which surround them.
Beaches:
Costa Brava’s beaches are characterized both by the high quality of its water, clean and freed from contamination, and for the services offered to bathers. This is why many of them have been awarded with the blue flag given by the European Foundation for environmental education and the five stars from the Environment Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Coves:
Small beaches and coves surrounded by vegetation are other of the distinctive elements of the Costa Brava. Some of them are only accessible by sea and many of them only by the footpaths that go along the coastline.
Here there is a list of beaches and coves classified by populations.
Those beaches and coves in blue have been awarded with the Blue Flag.

Blue Flag
The blue flag is a hallmark given by the European Foundation of Environmental Education every year to the beaches and ports that fulfill specific environmental conditions and facilities.

Sant Antoni de Calonge: Torre valentina, Cala Cristus, Ses Torretes, Sant Antoni, Es Monestrí.
